To commemorate the 100 years of cellulose
acetate the Global Acetate Manufacturers’ Association
presents a new book entitled “Cellulose Acetate
Properties and Applications”.
This book is published by Wiley as part of the Macromolecular
Symposia collection and reached the bookshelves in 2004.
It constitutes a unique document exploring the last 100
years of acetate, its properties, and different applications.
Under the editorial responsibility of Dr. Paul Rustemeyer
(Rhodia), this book includes contributions of leading
academia authors and industry experts from Europe, the
United States and Japan: Clemens Altaner, Bev Braddock,
Paolo Carollo, Wolfgang Glasser, Barbara Grospietro, Thomas
